THE BRICE FAMILY

The faith and grace of the Brice Family during the last month is nothing short of miraculous. Their daily surrender to Him – to hope in the hard places, to praise in the devastation and dark – expands our faith and God’s kingdom. As they continue to rebuild, as God begins to redeem and restore, we stand in awe of all God is doing in and through them.

William and Zachariah | A Hero’s Walk

On Thursday, April 18, 2024, William and Zachariah were honored for the heroic work of saving others through organ, eye and tissue donation.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We want to say a huge THANK YOU for your prayers, donations, and gestures of support for the family.

Here’s what we as a church family are doing and how you can be involved:

Clothing and personal items can be dropped off at both our Gainesville & Winchester locations.

Gainesville drop off hours are Monday—Thursday, 10:00am—5:00pm. Please use the FRONT entrance (as opposed to the side entrance).

Winchester drop off hours are 7 days a week, 9:00am—5:00pm. Items should be left in the Outreach Building (log cabin and labeled “The Brice Family”).

Seth is 13 and wears size 12/14 or L.  Logan is 8 and wears size 6/8 or M/L. Jamey is M/L, and Reina is L.

As you consider a donation, please think of every day items: pots and pans, a coffee maker, dishes, towels, sheets (king and queen size), blankets, etc. They also have 2 large dogs (45lbs and 60lbs). Dog crates, bowls, toys, etc are welcome.

Donations can be made to the Brice Family Relief Fund. All donations will go directly to help them as they walk through this season. There is also a GoFundMe page on social media that Reina’s best friend established and many people have donated.

Many people have asked about supplying meals for the family.  While there may be a time in the future where it would be necessary to do so, a Gainesville area company has stepped up and pledged to provide the family with meals for a month!  Praise God for His provision!

Counseling services: We have a counseling firm that is offering free counseling services to the members of the Brice family for the foreseeable future.  We will also have grief counselors on hand at our Gainesville location this upcoming week in the kids and youth ministry to help care for William and Zach’s friends during this difficult time.  Parents can expect further information about this via email this week.

Thank you for standing with the Brice family during this difficult season. If you have questions or need guidance, please email us at [email protected]
